Visual Merchandiser – Retail Store

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will create inspiring in‑store product presentations that reflect Marks & Spencer’s brand standards. This role focuses on delivering an engaging shopping experience, maximizing commercial opportunities, and supporting sales through impactful visual displays.

Key responsibilities

• Implement visual merchandising guidelines in line with brand standards.
• Plan and execute seasonal launches, promotions, and campaign displays.
• Arrange merchandise attractively to boost customer engagement and sales.
• Maintain store layouts, window displays, mannequins, focal points, and promotional zones.
• Conduct regular floor walks to ensure high visual standards and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Store and Department Managers to align visual displays with commercial priorities.
• Analyse sales data and buying patterns to optimise product placement.
• Ensure timely implementation of new floor sets and visual updates.
• Train store teams on visual merchandising standards and display maintenance.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the store team to keep displays intact.
• Verify accuracy and compliance of signage, POS materials, pricing, and promotional communication.
• Maintain housekeeping to keep the store visually appealing at all times.

Required profile

• Graduate or undergraduate degree; diploma or certification in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or Retail Management is a plus.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in fashion or lifestyle retail, preferably with premium apparel or international brands.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
