Utilities Technician – Water Treatment & HVAC

About the role

This position ensures seamless operation, integration and maintenance of water‑treatment and utility systems at Lonza’s Rewari site. You will manage RO, DM, softener and EDR plants, as well as HVAC equipment, to guarantee uptime, compliance with SOPs and ISO/GMP documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor RO, recycle‑RO, DM, softener and EDR systems according to SOPs.
• Run HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, compressors, cooling towers and trim blowers.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on water‑treatment and HVAC assets.
• Maintain accurate CLTI records, ISO‑compliant logs and system health data.
• Identify performance issues, troubleshoot and resolve them to sustain uptime.
• Coordinate vendor activities and supervise work for safety and compliance.
• Follow all EHS procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in utility or water‑treatment operations (RO, DM, softener, HVAC, chillers, compressors).
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment monitoring and system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret parameters such as DB, RH, pressure, flow rate and temperature.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience on utilities and mechanical assemblies.
