US Tax Associate – Entry Level (Fresher)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, detail‑oriented fresh graduates to join our US Tax team as entry‑level Tax Associates. The role offers hands‑on exposure to US federal and state tax compliance, working closely with experienced professionals and US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing US Federal and State tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
• Collect, organise and review client data and supporting tax documents.
• Prepare workpapers and ensure proper documentation for tax filings.
• Conduct basic tax research and apply US tax regulations under supervision.
• Use tax preparation software and internal systems accurately.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining firm quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies and client queries.
• Adapt to extended working hours to align with US time zones, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Basic understanding of US taxation concepts (academic or training exposure preferred).
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a deadline‑driven environment.
