Test Support Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Test Support Maintenance Technician is responsible for establishing and maintaining product test processes and equipment in a high‑tech electronics manufacturing environment. You will ensure test equipment reliability, support production quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of test cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Install, debug, and accept new test equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment and test processes to support production.
• Draft and update work instructions, procedures, and technical files.
• Develop test processes that reduce cycle time and improve yield.
• Create training material and conduct operator training.
• Perform downtime analysis, issue tracking, and implement contingency plans.
• Apply quality tools (Cpk, PFMEA, 6‑Sigma) to achieve zero‑defect goals.
• Manage spare parts, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma/BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in Electronics, Mechanical or related field.
• 2 to 15 years of relevant experience in test equipment maintenance or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• ICT programming and fine‑tuning.
• Knowledge of active and passive electronic components.
• Quality tools: Cpk, GR&R, PFMEA, 6‑Sigma, Lean.
• Tester validation, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Data analytics for OEE, MTBF, MTTR improvement.
• Experience with ECN/ECO test software and test method development.
