Territory Sales Manager – Retail Unsecured Loans

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager will lead the retail unsecured‑loan business in Kanpur, driving loan disbursals, profitability and portfolio quality. You will work closely with self‑employed individuals, professionals and small businesses to understand their working‑capital needs and structure appropriate loan solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalise end‑to‑end loan transactions and ensure timely disbursal.
• Build and nurture referral relationships with local agents, trade bodies and professional networks.
• Achieve volume and value targets while maintaining low delinquency rates.
• Monitor loan performance, enforce stringent credit controls and ensure portfolio health.
• Analyse regional market dynamics, occupation‑specific financing needs and competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with internal risk, compliance and product teams to tailor loan structures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail loan sales or financial services, preferably in unsecured lending.
• Strong understanding of local business environments, occupations and financial preferences.
• Ability to meet aggressive sales targets and manage high transaction volumes.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service orientation.
