Telecaller – Instructor Acquisition

About the role

Lane is expanding its network of high‑quality driving instructors in Bengaluru. As a Telecaller – Instructor Acquisition, you will combine office work with field visits to source, screen, and onboard new instructors, ensuring a steady supply of qualified professionals for our learners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential driving instructors through job portals, referrals, local garages, and community networks.
• Conduct initial screening calls in Kannada, clearly explaining Lane’s model, expectations, and earnings structure.
• Collect and verify required documents (driver’s licence, Aadhaar, vehicle details, etc.).
• Assist with scheduling onboarding sessions and training for new instructors.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date instructor pipeline using Google Sheets or a CRM system.
• Follow up with candidates to minimise drop‑offs and flag any supply gaps for acquisition drives.

Required profile

• Fluent in Kannada (mandatory) and comfortable communicating in English.
• Strong verbal communication skills for phone and WhatsApp interactions.
• Ability to engage confidently with blue‑collar professionals.
• Organised, persistent and execution‑oriented.
• Interest in operations, hiring, or people‑focused roles.
• Open to freshers and final‑year students.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
