Technician - Granulation Block B

About the role

The Granulation Block B Technician will operate and monitor granulation equipment in a cGMP‑controlled environment. You will ensure consistent production of high‑quality granules used for tablet or capsule formulations while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate granulation equipment such as high‑shear mixers, fluid‑bed dryers, oscillating mills, and blenders.
• Weigh, dispense, and mix raw materials according to batch manufacturing records.
• Monitor granulation parameters, adjust settings, and perform in‑process checks (moisture content, granule size).
• Document all results accurately and maintain equipment cleanliness per SOPs.
• Execute machine changeovers, line clearance activities, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and report deviations or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and troubleshooting initiatives.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/B.Sc or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in granulation.
• Familiarity with cGMP, USFDA guidelines, and pharmaceutical documentation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret batch records and SOPs.
• Basic computer skills for production documentation.
