About the role
We are seeking a Tax Consultant specialized in indirect tax and GST compliance to join our Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) team in Kolkata. The role involves supporting client engagements, reviewing GST returns, and delivering tax advisory services.
Key responsibilities
- Apply strong understanding of indirect tax concepts and basic GST law to client projects.
- Review GST returns prepared by junior team members and identify technical or compliance gaps.
- Support GST return preparation, validation, and filing with attention to accuracy and timelines.
- Maintain indirect tax documentation, perform reconciliations, and track compliance for engagements.
- Assist in tax advisory and compliance workstreams aligned with GST regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Commerce degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax and GST regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple client departments.
