Support Operations – HMC Machine Operator

About the role

The Support Operations professional will operate, set up, and maintain Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) equipment to produce dies, components, and precision parts. The role focuses on meeting production targets while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain HMC machines according to engineering drawings and quality specifications.
• Monitor production output and adjust processes to achieve daily targets.
• Identify near‑miss incidents and abnormalities, initiate corrective actions within seven days.
• Conduct safety training for new employees and ensure 100 % compliance before task assignment.
• Investigate incidents or near‑miss events within 48 hours and document findings.
• Review identified risks on a monthly basis and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and safety metrics.

Required profile

• Experience in operating or maintaining industrial machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and incident reporting procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret manufacturing specifications.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to zero‑fatal‑accident objectives.
