Stores Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Stores Executive to join our team at Accor in Kochi, India. In this position you will be the backbone of inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock movements, product quality and compliance across the hotel’s stores.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date inventory records and ensure timely system updates for all stock movements.
• Issue materials to user departments in line with approved requisitions and operational needs.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to preserve product quality and minimise waste.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory checks and support comprehensive stock reconciliations.
• Coordinate proactively with Purchasing, Finance and operational departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor stock availability, analyse trends and report slow‑moving, expired or damaged items.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of store areas while complying with company policies and audit requirements.
• Support month‑end inventory processes and prepare detailed inventory‑related reports.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate transparently with stakeholders regarding inventory status, discrepancies and resolutions.
