Sr. Sales Executive - Midnapore

About the role

The Senior Sales Executive will lead the commercial performance of the Midnapore territory, driving demand generation and ensuring sales targets are met. This role focuses on building strong relationships with channel partners, retailers and farmers to grow the agri‑chemical business.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve territory sales targets through monthly planning and activity charters.
• Develop and execute demand‑generation programs, including farmer meetings, field days, demonstrations and crop campaigns.
• Implement market development activities and create testimonial farmer stories.
• Own the sales process for the territory, ensuring compliance with internal and external commercial policies.
• Engage retailers and channel partners, manage profiling and balance confirmations.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (mandatory).
• Masters or Ph.D. in Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology or Agronomy (preferred).
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in agri‑chemical sales.
• Strong communication skills in the local language.
• Ability to collaborate across functions to deliver a superior customer experience.
