Specialist Retail Training

About the role

Partner with Regional Sales teams to assess capability gaps and develop training plans that align with business priorities and retail KPIs. Design and deliver classroom, virtual, and in‑store learning programs for franchisee trainers, store managers, and retail teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and capability‑building journeys for new hires and newly promoted store managers.
• Collaborate with SMEs and the Content team to continuously enhance learning content, tools, and digital experiences.
• Manage end‑to‑end execution of training programs, ensuring timely delivery, learner engagement, governance, and budget adherence.
• Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance metrics, and post‑training action plans.
• Analyze store performance trends and recommend targeted capability interventions to improve conversion, UPT, ATV, and overall productivity.
• Coach franchisee trainers and retail leaders to improve learning transfer and operational execution.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in Learning & Development, Retail Training, or capability building within retail, apparel, hospitality, or consumer‑facing industries.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; professional training certifications a plus.
• Strong retail business acumen with understanding of conversion, UPT, ATV, customer experience, and store productivity.
• Analytical mindset to interpret performance data and translate insights into measurable capability improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills, and ability to build trusted partnerships across functions and franchise partners.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and priorities in a dynamic environment.
