Specialist 3 – Commercial Due Diligence – Deals Strategy (Mumbai)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Specialist 3 to join its Deals Strategy practice in Mumbai. The role focuses on commercial due‑diligence and advisory work for clients undertaking mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring. You will analyse market trends, assess business opportunities and build strategic frameworks that help clients make informed decisions and maximise deal value.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to post‑merger integration, carve‑out and operational assessment projects.
• Interact with client teams at multiple levels to gather information, identify risks and propose solutions.
• Support business development activities and practice‑management initiatives.
• Develop data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations for M&A and restructuring engagements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in deals strategy, commercial due‑diligence, M&A or restructuring advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior client stakeholders.
