Specialised Buyer – NSC & Commercial Services

About the role

The Specialist Buyer will manage procurement for marketing services, events, consultancy, merchandise, media buying, hotels and other sales‑and‑marketing related services. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, competitive bidding and cost‑efficient purchasing to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and register new suppliers in the B2B system, KSRM and SAP.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, collect quotations, conduct technical approvals and manage shopping carts.
• Perform price comparisons, benchmarking and lead price negotiations with suppliers.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives such as localization and alternate sourcing.
• Prepare purchase orders in KSRM and SAP, obtain necessary approvals and handle order changes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, finance and users to resolve supplier‑related issues.
• Report status to the Department Head and ensure accurate information in all communications.
• Monitor daily/weekly strategic activities and ensure timely approval of bidders lists.
• Participate in sourcing committee meetings and other decision‑making forums.

• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and supplier development.
• Ability to meet savings targets and KPIs set by management.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and status updates.
