Business Development Executive

About the role

SortMyScene is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to help expand its platform that connects users with events, activities, and experiences. You will work on‑site in Goregaon, Mumbai, collaborating closely with internal teams to drive growth and build lasting partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential clients and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects and partners.
• Conduct market research to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Manage sales conversations, follow‑ups, and lead pipelines.
• Understand customer needs and communicate solutions effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in sales or sales management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships and interact confidently with clients.
• Experience in training to support client onboarding and engagement.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
