Solution Consultant – System Integration (EDI, Order-to-Invoice)

About the role

BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad is looking for a Solution Consultant to design and deliver integration solutions for internal and external partners, focusing on the Order‑to‑Invoice process.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and support internal and external partners on complex B2B integration scenarios using EDI, APIs, micro‑services and AI agents.
• Design, configure and test integration flows in SAP middleware (PO, CPI Integration Suite) and ensure quality, security and operational support.
• Provide 2nd/3rd‑level operational support, issue resolution and quality assurance for integration solutions.
• Participate in cross‑regional digitalisation projects and contribute to IT architecture strategy.

Required profile

• Master’s (or Bachelor’s with additional experience) in Computer Science, Business or a STEM field.
• Minimum 4 years of IT experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a global, multicultural team.

Required skills

• Transactional experience with SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA (SD/MM).
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP middleware platforms (PO, CPI Integration Suite).
• Expertise in standard connectivity messages and protocols (EDI, iDocs, XML, EDIFACT, JSON, APIs).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar version‑control tools.
• Experience with Agile ways of working and basic knowledge of AI‑based communication agents.
