Software Lead (Automotive Embedded)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a seasoned Software Lead to drive the technical vision and execution of automotive embedded software projects. You will lead a team of 10‑12 engineers, ensuring high‑quality delivery while fostering innovation and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer technical direction, implementation choices, and best practices for software initiatives.
• Guide the team to meet quality and delivery KPIs, estimating problem complexity and prioritising based on customer relevance.
• Promote engineering efficiency, community building, and rapid adoption of emerging software technologies.
• Conduct performance and goal evaluations, and develop team competencies.
• Collaborate with Scrum/Agile processes where applicable.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in automotive software development using C language.
• Good understanding of crash physics, dynamics, control systems, and embedded system fundamentals.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and drive technical excellence.
