Software Engineer (PHP) – Web Applications

About the role

eJyothi Services is looking for a proactive Software Engineer specialized in PHP to build and maintain mission‑critical business web applications for its US client, Ascella Technologies. The role is part of the IT team in Kochi and offers the chance to work on modern, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and elicit technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Design algorithms, flowcharts, and database schemas.
• Write clean, efficient PHP code following specifications.
• Develop unit and integration test cases and execute testing.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and resolve defects.
• Follow company standards and SDLC guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
