Software Engineer III

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to collaborate with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams. The role spans the discovery phase through design, development, testing, and delivery of small to large‑scale software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to create high‑level designs during project discovery.
• Analyze business and production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans.
• Translate project requirements into technical solutions, write and test code, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Provide ongoing support to users, addressing technical feasibility, implementation strategies, and escalation of complex issues.
• Guide small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, by supplying documentation, direction, and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain requirement traceability matrices linking business, functional, design, and test artifacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑life‑cycle software development for medium to large projects.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate with offshore teams.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and user‑story creation.
