Software Engineer II – Cloud & Microservices

About the role

Join Nike's Global Technology team as a Software Engineer II within the Geographies & Marketplace Experiences organization. You will help modernize Nike's product data platform by building high‑throughput, low‑latency services that power consumer experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain micro‑service based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Implement test‑driven development practices and ensure code quality through unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services using observability tools such as Splunk, SignalFx, and Grafana.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery, from requirements gathering to production support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working in distributed, cloud‑based environments.
• Strong collaborative mindset within agile, Scrum teams.
• Ability to take ownership of features and drive them to production.
