DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our Financial Crime team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating cloud‑based data engineering platforms that enable anti‑money‑laundering capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS‑based infrastructure and data platforms.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Shell and Python.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.
• Deploy and operate Apache Spark workloads on Amazon EKS.
• Apply data concepts, design patterns and algorithms to platform solutions.
• Champion DevOps practices including automated testing, monitoring and operational excellence.
• Drive automation of processes across the engineering lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to communicate problems and solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud development, especially AWS.
• Proficiency in Bash, Shell and/or Python scripting.
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience running Apache Spark on EKS or similar container platforms.
• Strong understanding of data concepts, design patterns and algorithms.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and a drive to automate workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
