Software Engineer – Backend & Full‑Stack

About the role

Servify is looking for a Software Engineer to design and build high‑performance, highly available services that power its global product lifecycle platform. You will work on distributed systems, contribute to both backend and full‑stack features, and ensure the platform meets strict security and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative solutions from scratch, collaborating with leads and architects.
• Implement and enforce compliance with Servify’s information‑security processes.
• Validate deliverables against security, static‑code and dynamic‑analysis requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Maintain and audit code quality according to project guidelines.
• Test completed tasks within the team before handing over to QA, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Learn and apply new technologies such as distributed systems on cloud platforms.
• Handle post‑production monitoring, operations, and maintenance to guarantee high availability.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong grasp of functional programming, object‑oriented principles, and MVC architecture.
• Experience with Node.js (2–3 years) and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with server‑side CSS pre‑processors and basic front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Preferred exposure to insurance, supply‑chain management, or e‑commerce domains.
