Software Development Manager – Hardline Fulfillment Experiences

About the role

Amazon’s Hardline Fulfillment Experiences Tech team builds solutions that accelerate order delivery while keeping costs low. As a Software Development Manager you will lead a high‑performing engineering group, shaping the technology that powers the end‑to‑end fulfillment journey for customers in India and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and grow a world‑class team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering leaders, and senior stakeholders to define strategy and roadmap.
• Design, architect, and implement critical features for Amazon’s mobile fulfillment platform.
• Own the full software lifecycle—from architecture and design through deployment, release, and live‑site operations.
• Drive the creation of India‑first features that enhance customer experience and support global use cases.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 8+ years leading definition and development of multi‑tier web services.
• Strong knowledge of engineering practices, coding standards, code reviews, source‑control, build processes, testing, and certification.
• Proven ability to partner with product and program management teams.
