Senior ETL Automation Testing Engineer

About the role

EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) team supports EY's worldwide client service and enablement teams with cost-effective, high-skilled services. This Senior position in Bengaluru focuses on ETL and Power BI testing, with a competitive salary and a deadline of 30 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans for ETL pipelines
• Design and run test cases based on source-to-target mapping documents across layers
• Create and manage UAT test plans and cases with the client's analytics team, using existing dashboards
• Run full test cycles, track defects, manage issue resolution and support iterative testing
• Keep QA, engineering and business teams coordinated and informed
• Take responsibility for decisions, process optimization, resource management and team oversight as needed

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in ETL testing and Power BI testing
• Basic expertise in automation testing
• Strong understanding of data migration, data quality and reconciliation processes
• Ability to handle large datasets, complex reporting and high-volume test scenarios

Required skills

• Testing: requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation and execution, UAT, regression testing, JIRA/Confluence, Agile/Scrum, defect management
• Power BI: dashboard and report testing, DAX validation, KPI verification, visualizations, filters, slicers, bookmarks, RLS security testing
• SQL, including window functions; streaming or CDC pipeline testing; Databricks/Snowflake or Apache Spark
• Robot Framework and Python/Pyspark for automation
