Social Media Manager – Instagram

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who will own our Instagram presence, drive brand positioning, boost engagement and generate organic leads for The Language SKOOL, a remote‑first EdTech company.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish short‑form video content (Reels, Stories, behind‑the‑scenes) aligned with our growth strategy.
• Maintain and optimise the Instagram content calendar, including captions, hashtags and posting schedule.
• Run social media campaigns aimed at high‑quality lead generation and follower growth.
• Monitor trends and cultural moments, using AI tools for rapid ideation and execution.
• Track and analyse metrics (views, saves, shares, profile visits) on Instagram and YouTube to refine performance.
• Guide the development team to repurpose webinars and event footage into bite‑sized, platform‑optimised assets.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of social media management and B2C marketing experience, preferably in EdTech.
• Deep understanding of Instagram and YouTube algorithms, audience personas and organic lead funnels.
• Hands‑on experience with design and video editing tools and basic AI‑driven content workflows.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills for remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
