Skilled Technician – Level II

About the role

We are looking for a Skilled Technician – Level II to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves performing maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment with limited supervision, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, corrective, emergency and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures, report hazards and use appropriate PPE.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure work complies with diagrams, manuals and specifications.
• Support equipment uptime by diagnosing failures and contributing to root‑cause analysis.
• Document maintenance activities in the preventive‑maintenance system and provide feedback.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with peers and support staff to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.

• Strong understanding of electrical safety and industrial energy sources.
• Commitment to HSE standards and proactive hazard mitigation.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Willingness to engage in training and personal development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools, measuring and testing instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, sketches and operation manuals.
• Experience documenting maintenance work in a preventive‑maintenance system.
• Basic knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
