Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor acts as the eyes and ears of each project on the ground, ensuring that all on‑site activities align with design specifications and quality standards. This is a hands‑on, on‑site position that requires daily presence, proactive problem‑solving, and meticulous record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily on‑site presence for assigned projects, overseeing all contractor activities.
• Capture and upload structured photo logs of every work area by the end of each day.
• Create and update a comprehensive snag log, documenting defects, incomplete items, and assumptions from day one.
• Coordinate contractors on‑site, managing work sequences, daily targets, and material availability at the point of use.
• Inspect material deliveries against specifications and reject non‑conforming items.
• Flag any site issues to the Project Manager on the same day they arise.

Required profile

• Accountable and highly organised individual with a strong technical understanding of construction processes.
• Ability to work independently on‑site without remote supervision.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential problems.
