HVAC Engineer – Design & Project Delivery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in HVAC design and building services engineering. The role involves delivering HVAC design solutions for overseas and local projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams from design development through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop HVAC designs for commercial, residential, institutional and other building projects.
• Prepare HVAC design calculations, cooling and heating load calculations, and select appropriate equipment.
• Create HVAC layouts, ducting and piping schematics, and produce design drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and fire protection disciplines.
• Support BIM/CAD modelling, interdisciplinary clash coordination and provide technical support during project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC design and building services engineering on local and/or international projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, design calculations and applicable international and local codes.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP or equivalent tools.
• Good coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
