Mechanical Engineer III

About the role

You will be a member of our multi‑disciplinary team and work under the direction of designated project leadership. Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, corporate commercial and science‑technology environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and direct design of ductwork, piping and equipment selection for HVAC systems, and assist with plumbing and fire‑protection designs.
• Calculate heating and cooling loads, create energy models, and develop layout and detail drawings using Revit/BIM from schematic design through construction administration.
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers and air‑handling units, and review shop drawings for compliance.
• Supervise or provide project‑management direction within the mechanical discipline, monitoring progress and budget.
• Respond to RFIs, change orders, and conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum six years of related experience, preferably on international projects.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience with engineering design software such as Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus.
