Site Supervisor – Construction

About the role

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities on residential or redevelopment projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. This position offers hands‑on exposure to end‑to‑end site operations within Mumbai’s real‑estate development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities to guarantee compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Monitor workmanship quality and enforce approved construction methods and materials.
• Track progress against planned schedules and report any deviations to project management.
• Manage quality control, health, safety, and environmental compliance, including reporting.
• Maintain documentation and use mandatory business systems for reporting and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably on residential or redevelopment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, site execution practices, and quality requirements.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, PPE requirements, and site safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Excel and ERP/site reporting systems.
• High discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance.
