Senior Test Lab Technician – Power Connections

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Senior Test Lab Technician to perform electrical functional and validation testing of power‑connection components. You will work in a dedicated lab environment, supporting engineering teams by setting up, executing, analyzing, and reporting test results while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional, validation, voltage‑drop, insulation‑resistance, Hi‑Pot, continuity, and related electrical tests on connectors according to approved procedures.
• Design, build, and maintain test setups, fixtures, harnesses, and benches required for test execution.
• Operate high‑voltage power supplies, multimeters, clamp meters, micro‑ohm meters, Hi‑Pot testers, insulation‑resistance testers, LCR meters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, probes, and climatic chambers safely.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data; prepare clear test reports for engineering review.
• Support troubleshooting, failure investigation, and root‑cause analysis in collaboration with engineers.
• Maintain 5S organization, calibration records, inventory, and audit‑ready documentation.
• Follow ESD, high‑voltage, and general laboratory safety practices at all times.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience performing electrical testing of connectors and power‑related components.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex test fixtures and harnesses.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Effective communication with engineering and technical teams.
