Senior Tax Consultant – TMT & Global Compliance (Hyderabad)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Tax – TMT – Global Compliance & Reporting team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on delivering direct tax compliance, technical research, and international tax advisory services to technology, media, entertainment and telecommunications clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate tax compliance, return preparation and filing for client entities.
• Conduct technical research on income‑tax provisions and apply findings to client‑specific issues.
• Prepare submissions for tax assessments and appellate proceedings and support representation before tax authorities.
• Apply international tax concepts, including treaty interpretation and foreign exchange management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of direct tax laws and corporate tax compliance.
• Experience in technical tax research and preparation of assessment submissions.
• Familiarity with international tax principles and treaty interpretation.
• Ability to support clients in navigating tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
