Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

The Senior Systems Administrator ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure, covering servers, networks, and enterprise systems. Based in Calicut, the role aligns IT operations with business objectives and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced support to end‑users via phone, email, chat, and direct interaction.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets while meeting SLA targets.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement long‑term fixes.
• Mentor junior administrators and guide best‑practice adoption.
• Manage hardware inventory, deploy software/hardware, and oversee backups and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Utilize Active Directory, ServiceNow, and other tools for daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications such as ITIL Foundation and MCSE are highly desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service focus.
• Ability to work in a 24 × 7 shift environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new tools.
