Senior System Administrator – IT Architecture/Cloud

About the role

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior System Administrator to lead the administration, implementation and maintenance of security best practices across its technology landscape. The role works closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure reliable operation of both on‑premise and Azure cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, implement and maintain security best practices based on SOC recommendations for all technology systems.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to guarantee smooth operation of software and hardware supporting business processes.
• Ensure connectivity of servers, shared applications and other critical systems.
• Manage hybrid environments comprising on‑premise servers and Azure cloud services running Windows Server 2016‑2022.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network issues using Cisco, HP and Palo Alto equipment.
• Coordinate and execute in‑depth testing and end‑user reviews for new or modified systems.
• Provide orientation, training and support to end users for system changes.
• Deliver local and remote user support via Jira Service Management and GoTo‑LogMeIn.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Proven expertise in systems planning, security principles and network infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of data‑privacy practices for PCI compliance.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in high‑pressure environments and work collaboratively in a team.
