Senior Specialist, Procurement (SOW Coordinator)

About the role

The SOW Coordinator manages the end-to-end lifecycle of project-based and services procurement engagements. As the main link between business stakeholders, procurement and external vendors, the role ensures that Statements of Work (SOWs) are drafted, tracked and executed in line with corporate policy. It uses Vendor Management Systems (SAP Fieldglass or Beeline) to run contracts, track deliverables, process milestones and report spend.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and finalise SOWs with hiring managers and procurement teams, defining deliverables, milestones, pricing and timelines.
• Act as subject matter expert for the organisation's VMS (Fieldglass or Beeline) and track all SOWs through approval workflows.
• Monitor vendor progress, validate milestone completion with business leaders and approve invoices in Fieldglass/Beeline.
• Be the main contact for suppliers on onboarding, system access, invoice issues and contract changes.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policy, worker classification rules and legal requirements.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on spend, vendor performance, budget burn rates and compliance.
• Identify bottlenecks in the SOW requisition and approval process and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, HR operations or contingent workforce management.
• Strong grasp of procurement principles, contract terminology and the difference between SOW-based services and traditional contingent labour.
• Ability to analyse spend data, reconcile invoices against project milestones and spot discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to push back on non-compliant requests while keeping stakeholder relationships strong.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fieldglass or Beeline (Mandate).
• Contract management and vendor administration.
