Senior Quality Analyst – Data Team

About the role

The GBS Senior Quality Analyst I will support testing and quality engineering across the GBS and Data Lake platforms. You will ensure high‑quality delivery of software and data products by applying robust QA methodologies and collaborating with senior analysts and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, system, regression, integration, certification, and load testing.
• Identify automation opportunities and apply tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or TestNG to improve testing efficiency.
• Work with project managers, technical leads, and subject‑matter experts to align testing with project requirements and timelines.
• Report defects, investigate root causes, and suggest process improvements for faster delivery.
• Participate in project reviews, metric reporting, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging testing tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quality Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and software development processes.
• Hands‑on experience with manual testing on medium to large projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.

Required skills

• SQL and ETL/Data Pipeline testing.
• API testing.
• Selenium, PyTest, TestNG (or equivalent automation tools).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
