Senior Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with at least six years of hands‑on experience to join our Mumbai office. You will work on building and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, integrating RESTful services, and ensuring high performance across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Create and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and optimise database queries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Develop unit and integration tests to guarantee application quality.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, performance optimisation, and scalability planning.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and version‑control processes.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of professional software development experience.
• Strong foundation in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑level applications in an Agile environment.
