Senior Manager – Actuarial (Life Insurance)

About the role
EXL is seeking a Senior Manager with strong actuarial expertise in life insurance to support its analytics practice. The role involves working with international clients, especially in the US and Indian markets, and contributing to new‑business development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of client problem statements and current state of affairs.
- Interact with clients on a regular basis to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Contribute to business development by identifying client pain points and proposing actionable solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection guidelines.
Required profile
- 3‑10 years of actuarial experience in life insurance.
- Passed 4‑12 actuarial exams.
- Experience working in US markets; Indian market experience is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of US‑GAAP LDTI preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with fluency in English.
