Senior Linux Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux Security Engineer to protect our next‑generation battery energy storage platforms. The role focuses on designing and implementing robust security architecture for Linux‑based control systems, ensuring the highest cybersecurity standards while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy enterprise‑wide Linux hardening initiatives, including OS‑level security configurations, secure boot, and kernel enhancements.
• Design and enforce file‑system security policies, logging, auditing, and continuous monitoring frameworks.
• Harden network stack configurations with firewall rules, secure protocols, and network segmentation.
• Develop and maintain Linux hardening baselines, security benchmarks, and automated compliance validation.
• Reduce attack surface by removing unnecessary services and components and applying secure defaults.
• Design secure architectures for visualization and monitoring platforms.
• Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, coordinate penetration testing, and perform security gap analysis.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and Linux security technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in Linux security hardening and architecture.
• Proven track record securing critical infrastructure, especially energy storage or renewable‑energy systems.
• Strong understanding of OT/ICS cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443.
