Senior IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist

About the role

Skybound Wealth Management is establishing a global internal IT function to support its fast‑growing, multi‑jurisdictional financial‑services business. We are seeking a Senior IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to own the governance, risk and regulatory‑control framework for our technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve Skybound’s IT governance framework.
• Establish clear control ownership across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and broader technology operations.
• Define governance processes, review cycles and a structured IT governance calendar.
• Document, repeat and enforce technology processes across entities and jurisdictions.
• Own and maintain the IT Risk Register and support the Cybersecurity Risk Register.
• Identify, assess and treat technology, cybersecurity, resilience and third‑party risks.
• Monitor remediation plans, ensure evidence of closure and escalate material risks.
• Interpret technology‑related regulatory requirements and translate them into practical IT controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT governance, risk and compliance within a financial‑services or similar regulated environment.
• Ability to understand complex technical environments and pinpoint weaknesses.
• Comfort operating between technical teams, business stakeholders, auditors and regulators.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear evidence and reporting to management and regulators.
