About the role
Bank of America is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Global Markets Technology & Operations team within Global Business Services. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying regulatory reporting solutions for capital markets products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement regulatory reporting projects, managing the end‑to‑end book of work.
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications and reconciliations supporting Global Markets business lines.
- Collaborate with regional technology teams and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in global design reviews and contribute to a strong techno‑functional team.
Required profile
- 8–10 years of experience in software development, preferably in capital markets.
- Hands‑on experience with Java, AWS, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, SDLC, TDD and BDD.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and be an effective team player.
