Senior Engineer - Design (Splitter Gearbox)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the design and optimisation of splitter gearbox components, assemblies and systems. The role combines technical development with cost, schedule and quality responsibilities within a dynamic project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise splitter gearbox components, assemblies and systems, ensuring design‑to‑cost from customer requirements.
• Manage PLM data, including BOM creation and lifecycle promotion.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary with project departments and coordinate tolerance stack‑up.
• Work with component suppliers on technical property clarification and co‑design.
• Conduct FMEA activities and support local component development for cost and quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Manufacturing from a university or technical college.
• More than 5 years of experience in gearbox or related mechanical design.
