Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Customer Project Manager (OE)

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking a dynamic professional to lead new product development projects for original equipment (OE) customers. The role combines senior engineering responsibilities with assistant‑manager duties, acting as the entrepreneurial driver of project success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute project charter, management plan, and product releases.
• Coordinate sample development, ordering, and tracking to meet customer quality and timing expectations.
• Manage product change activities, including technical impact communication to customers.
• Lead launch management, risk management, and monthly budget tracking (cost, headcount, capacity).
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPI tracking, and stakeholder updates.
• Facilitate interface between customers and internal project teams, supporting engineering change requests through end‑of‑project.
• Oversee invoicing of special revenue items such as tooling, calibration, logistics, and samples.
• Maintain comprehensive internal and external documentation and conduct lessons‑learned reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably handling OEM accounts.
• Proven experience in project management, key account management, and manufacturing environments.
