Design Engineer (Hybrid) – Pune

About the role

Join Freudenberg Filtration Technologies as a Design Engineer to create innovative filtration products and components. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with product developers, project engineers and suppliers to bring concepts to reality.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design products and components using Autodesk Inventor CAD, selecting suitable raw materials and generating detailed drawings.
• Review design feasibility on CAD models and prototypes, supporting APQP product development stages.
• Maintain the drawing management system (Autodesk Vault), define global drawing standards, and archive project documentation.
• Coordinate sample and prototype construction, conduct production trials, and evaluate results.

Required profile

• Technical degree in plastics, mechanical, process or chemical engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, but recent graduates with strong potential are welcome.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean basics, and product design FMEA.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor (CAD).
• Experience using Autodesk Vault for drawing management.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with SAP and project‑management software.
