Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer to lead the design, implementation and operation of cloud‑native platforms. You will work on large‑scale, high‑availability solutions that support our banking products and drive automation across the entire delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement container orchestration on Amazon EKS and ECS, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, cost optimisation and performance monitoring.
• Lead database architecture, backup, disaster‑recovery planning and high‑availability setups for RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with development, QA and security teams to drive architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior architects and development teams, and enforce architectural standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong background in designing secure, reliable and observable cloud solutions.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures using Kafka.
• Knowledge of data architecture, analytics and AI/ML applications in the banking sector.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
