Senior Controller – US Accounting & Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for US‑based entities. The role combines full‑cycle accounting ownership with strategic analysis and stakeholder partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting for one or multiple US entities or clients.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare US GAAP financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, pre‑payments and fixed assets.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting and cash management.
• Produce and analyse management reports, KPIs, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure policy compliance and coordinate audits and statutory filings.
• Drive process improvements, automation and ERP implementation or migration projects.
• Review and coach junior accounting staff.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights and identify risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA, CMA or ACCA preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Prior experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, Senior Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end and year‑end close independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
