Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and effective cash flow management. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce internal financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, treasury functions, and manage expenditure strategies.
• Lead preparation for internal and external audits and oversee tax compliance and filing.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in financial systems, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, corporate accounting or financial control functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical reasoning abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey financial metrics clearly.
