Senior Civil 3D Designer – Utility Modeling

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Designer specialized in Civil 3D to develop detailed 3D models of underground utility networks for projects in Bangalore and Gurugram. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate, constructible designs that meet regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of wet and dry utilities (storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water, gas, telecom) using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Generate plan, profile, and cross‑section drawings for construction and approvals.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with Navisworks.
• Maintain model integrity in multi‑user cloud environments (ACC, ProjectWise).
• Customize object, label, and pipe network styles and configure part lists per project needs.
• Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
