Senior Business Application Analyst

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Senior Business Application Analyst to lead the optimization and automation of its Salesforce and reporting platforms. The role focuses on improving business processes, data quality, and stakeholder decision‑making across sales, marketing, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and automate Salesforce, including user setup, roles, permission sets, workflows, flows, approval processes, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards and mobile administration.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Power Automate solutions to support KPI tracking, pipeline visibility and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Support Salesforce CPQ administration, sandbox and release management, and platform enhancements.
• Perform data migration, deduplication, imports/exports and data maintenance using Data Loader, Workbench and other tools.
• Identify manual processes and streamline them with Salesforce automation, Power Automate and AI‑enabled tools.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce queries, troubleshooting, support and user training.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Salesforce Administrator with strong knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Salesforce (Classic, Lightning), Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce configuration.
• Power BI, Power Automate, AI‑enabled automation initiatives.
• Data Loader, Workbench, data migration and data quality tools.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator or Specialist.
