Senior Associate – Property & Casualty Transcription

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe audio recordings dictated by property and casualty insurance claims adjusters and other stakeholders into written statements and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology, and a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict client data confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe recorded statements and audio notes from claims adjusters.
• Review, proofread, and format documents according to internal standards.
• Ensure linguistic quality, including correct grammar, spelling, and insurance terminology.
• Meet file‑processing deadlines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of personal and sensitive information.
• File and upload documents into electronic claim‑management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or specialization in Insurance & Risk Management, Operations, or Logistics preferred.
• Transcriptionist diploma or certificate required.
• Excellent written English, listening, typing, and proofreading skills.
• 1‑3 years of prior experience in transcription, preferably in insurance.
• Good knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology.
• Strong typing speed and accuracy with professional discretion.
